Woolshed Hill Estate is an elegant country retreat set upon 50 acres of picturesque countryside in idyllic Hunter Valley wine country. The estate consists of self contained country style brick buildings which are ideally suited to large groups of family, friends or corporate settings. The first is our “Homestead” which consists of six bedrooms and three bathrooms; it has a fully equipped kitchen, log fires, and an al-fresco dining area which has both gas and wood burning BBQ’s. The second is our “Country Cottage” which has two bedrooms, a country bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette. A gas BBQ, sink & al-fresco dining setting are situated just outside your door. The “Homestead” and “Country Cottage” can be booked together for up to 18 people or separately, either way they provide the perfect setting for friends or families to get together. Finally, our “Apartment” sleeps up to 6 people. A queen bedroom, double bedroom both with en-suites, a pull-out sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and elegantly decorated lounge room offer our guests a taste of country hospitality. The entire estate can accommodate up to 24 guests – perfect for weddings, corporate functions, parties or family gatherings. Woolshed Hill Estate is one of Pokolbin’s most sought after retreats for those discerning guests seeking an alternative to noisy Hotel / Motel style accommodation. Guests have the exclusive use of all the resort facilities including the 9 hole golf course, all weather tennis court and swimming pool. Bring your favourite clubs and racquets and enjoy a round or two. Spectacular sunsets over the majestic Broken Back Mountain Ranges present a serene backdrop to the many vineyards that surround the property.
